A Rather Random Golf Question. What Is The Average Weight Of A Golf Putter?
i was wondering what the approximate weight for a golf putter is?
it doesnt need to be the exact weight. i just need it for some calculations involved in my physics assignments

depends on what putter you have of course, if it a “blade” putter, the head can be from 500-750g probally, if you add the shaft into that, then probally looking at roughly 1kg-1.5kg, then a “mallet” putter probally has a head from 750g-1kg, and the shaft another 500g-750g on top of thatdo looking at roughly 1.5kg-2kg.
In the world of Scotty Cameron and Odyssey, C&L, putter of high quality like those, a light putter is 320 grams (head). A heavy putter is 355 grams. Now I am excluding the Heavy putter. That is a different animal. The swing weight of a putter will vary with the type of shaft, putter grip, and neck shape.
